show you three ways to be able to update   And use your Google photos to fix it where it's 
not automatically uploading or uploading really   Really slow so this is three ways to make sure 
that your photos in Google photos automatically   Upload and they upload quickly all right so the 
first one is we either want to go down to the   Settings option or we want to swipe down from 
the top and click the little settings icon in   The top right hand corner and then we're going 
to click on apps or apps and notifications so   We're going to click on the apps button and 
then what we're going to do is we're going   To find Google photos and that's under p on 
most phones so let's go ahead and go to Google   Photos now the first thing that we want to do 
on Google photos is we want to uh allow it look   At battery used all right and when we click on 
battery used we want to make sure that we allow   Background activity if it says restricted you 
are not uploading all the time so we want to go   Ahead and allow background activity next thing 
we want to do optimize battery usage click that   And then on the optimize battery usage you see 
apps not optimized now if it is optimized for   Battery usage it is not going to always upload so 
we want to go and uh go down and look at all apps   And then we're going to go down to photos once 
again so now if the Blue Tick is on if you see   It ticked that means that it is limiting what it 
can do in the background and uh so right here you   See that it's ticked so we're going to untick 
it to allow it to maximize the upload speed and   The background all right so last thing let's go 
back to the home screen we are going to go to the   Play Store and you want to make sure that you 
have the newest updated app for Google photos   So click update and once you have completed 
this these three steps are going to make sure   That you are always able to automatically upload 
your Google photos on the photos app and it will   Upload in the background quickly so they're 
always on your Google photos on the desktop   On the app in the cloud so that you can use them 
for editing sharing or whatever you want and you   See right now it is uploading my items I had 108 
items just sitting there not doing anything and   Now it is quickly uploading my items and getting
